Tell us what hurts, and when it started.

A few sentences is enough. We will reply about an appointment time, or tell you honestly if the complaint belongs somewhere else.

How to reach us

Email is the only channel we publish. We do not list a telephone number, so every enquiry is answered in writing — which also means you keep a record of what was said.

In an emergency, do not use this form. If you have chest pain, sudden severe headache, loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness in the saddle region, or a serious injury, call 000 or attend your nearest emergency department.

Before your first appointment

Three things that make the first visit useful

01

Bring what you already have

Imaging, radiology reports, referral letters and specialist correspondence. They change what we look for and save you an appointment.

02

Wear something you can move in

The examination involves bending, turning and walking. Clothing you can move freely in makes the movement screen far more useful.

03

Note when it is worst

Time of day, particular movements, what settles it. That pattern is often the most useful single piece of information you can give us.

04

Bring your questions

Write them down beforehand. The findings discussion is the point at which they are easiest to answer properly.
