About the practice

A practice built around the examination, not the routine.

Wellbeing Chiropractic Queensland Pty Ltd is an Australian proprietary company providing chiropractic assessment and manual care for the spine, pelvis and peripheral joints.

Who we are

Careful hands, and a reason for every one of them

The practice exists because most musculoskeletal complaints are not mysterious — they are under-examined. A stiff mid-back that has been called “stress” for two years, a low back that gives way every few months, a neck that only hurts on the drive home: each of those has a mechanical story, and that story is usually visible in how the person stands, bends and turns.

So the work begins there. We watch you move, test the joints individually, and put the findings into words you can repeat to someone else. Only then does anyone decide what to treat. It is a slower start than a walk-in adjustment, and it is the whole point of the practice.

We are equally clear about the edges of the discipline. Chiropractic care is one option among several, it does not suit every complaint, and some presentations belong with a general practitioner or a specialist. Saying so early is part of the service.

How we practise

Four rules we do not bend

They are unremarkable rules. Holding to all four at once is the part that takes discipline.

01

Examine first

No adjustment is delivered on a joint that has not been individually assessed in that appointment or the one before it.

02

Explain in plain words

If you cannot describe your own complaint to a family member after the findings discussion, the explanation was not good enough.

03

Set an end point

Care is proposed as a defined block with a review date. Open-ended, indefinite schedules are not how this practice works.

04

Refer without ego

Where the presentation points somewhere else — medical, imaging, another allied health discipline — you are told, and told early.

Who we see

The people who come through the door

Different bodies, different loads, and complaints that follow the load.

Desk-based workers

Mid-back stiffness, neck ache and shoulder tension that build across a working week and ease over the weekend — then return by Tuesday.

Active and sporting adults

Runners, gym-goers and weekend sport players managing load-related complaints of the low back, hips, knees and ankles.

Manual and trade workers

Lifting, twisting and overhead work, and the lumbar and shoulder complaints that come with doing them all day.

What we do not do

We do not offer indefinite maintenance plans sold in advance, we do not claim to treat conditions outside the musculoskeletal system, and we do not ask you to keep attending once the review shows you no longer need to.

If a complaint is not responding as expected, that is a reason to re-examine or refer — not a reason to book more of the same.

Scope and honesty

The limits are part of the standard

Chiropractic care is a manual therapy for musculoskeletal complaints. It sits alongside medical care, imaging, exercise rehabilitation and, where relevant, specialist review — it does not replace any of them.

Some things we see are outside the scope of this practice, and some presentations need a doctor rather than a chiropractor. In either case you will be told directly, at the findings stage, with a reason.
